Hope & Worry

This thought just came, after interacting with Qatar Karting Community whatsapp group.

I throw a jokes, because someone sending instagram reels about little kid that do karting, motorcycle and all racing sport. Perhaps he does not knew that this little kid is not any other kids, he is Zayn Sofuoglu, already internet social media sensational. This year he is 5years old (born in 2019). Son of Keenan Sofuoglu, WSBK world champ, Turkey 1%-er.

The jokes

"When you read names Sofuoglu, you now he already fulfill the first requirement to be a racer, it is extra thick wallet" referring to Kenny Robert Jr statement on how to become a racer.

Somebody replied with sad emoticon, and i just realized the chat stop, silent. 

Man I don't want to let everyone down and lose hope. Since, normally we are not born in super rich family (by statistic, refer to normal distribution)

Tried to counter act of what I do, i said

"But don't give up, there also with extra talent and work hard able to go further. InshaAllah, god willing."

As what I take from "Pengajian" at Amr Bin Jundub Mosque, Imam speech about Hope & Worry, it is feels related to my world.

Hope for Allah Rahmah and worry about our sins.

Back to racing, yes, we need to realize we are not born in rich family to support us to do racing.

However, with analogy a knife, yes rich kids perhaps we assume as titanium knife that have most advance sharpening tools.

We assume us as, let say, stainless steel or less, with sharpening stones.

It is come back to us, also the rich kid, to utilize the tools, the privilege's, if rich kid not using that advance sharpening tools, he also cannot be sharp and cut through paper.

While we as user of sharpening stones, yes, it is not convenient for us to use sharpening stones as much as advance sharpening tools, as rich kid have. But still, we need to grateful for what we have, we use our sharpening stones and time to sharpen our stainless steel knife.

In the end it is not about lose or win in sport, what deep down in your hearth, in your soul, you feel happy? even you finish last, but you feel happy just to be a part of the race, it is also winning, win or lose is relative.

Enjoy the ride.

Sport will beat you down yes, it is tough place to be, you will questioning yourself, to go through or leave it broken hearth, but it will show everyone what you made of, what is your value. Yes for sure, if you always lose some small-minded people will throw negative comment such as "what for? loser?" never listen to this kind of person, they achieve nothing in their life and want to drag you down to same bottom level as them.

At least proof it to your self, you are made of steel in knife fight.

Tiada Rabb yang berhak disembah selain Allah Yang Maha Esa, tidak ada sekutu bagi-Nya. Bagi-Nya puji dan bagi-Nya kerajaan. Dia Maha Kuasa atas segala sesuatu. Ya Allah, tidak ada yang mencegah apa yang Engkau berikan dan tidak ada yang memberi apa yang Engkau cegah. Tidak berguna kekayaan dan kemuliaan itu bagi pemiliknya (selain iman dan amal shalihnya yang menyelamatkan dari siksaan). Hanya dari-Mu kekayaan dan kemuliaan.

Laa ilaha illallah wahdahu laa syarika lah, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu wa huwa ‘ala kulli syai-in qodiir. Allahumma laa maani’a limaa a’thoyta wa laa mu’thiya limaa mana’ta wa laa yanfa’u dzal jaddi minkal jaddu.
